This update contains a number of improvements to the WCF Load Test tool. . The release still maintains the beta tag because it has not been widely tested prior to release. It includes the following improvements:

Provides support for DataSets
Delivers support for duplex contracts
Can handle ASMX services, even without a WCF client, which comes from the capability to process Fiddler2 traces
Automatically filters out NullMessage messages which can appear in service-side message logs
Verifies that the right kind of message log has been provided
nitializes out parameters in the stub methods so that generated code will always compile without modification
No longer locks the assemblies after the wizard has been used
Provides improved error reporting

At the time of the last release it was said that it would be the last release to support Visual Studio 2008. However, there has not been a need to do this, so this release is
still supported in Visual Studio 2008 and Visual Studio 2010, it will probably also still work with Visual Studio 2005, but this has not been tested.

This release is a minor update with a few bug fixes and with support for integration into Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate Edition. The release maintains the beta tag because it has not been widely tested prior to release. The main bug fixes are:

Fixed bug with contracts that have an empty namespace.
Added support for one-way operations.
Terminology change from "Trace" to "Message Log" to be consistent with WCF terminology.

After this release the code will be converted to .NET 4, so the next release will only work with Visual Studio 2010. This is the last release that will work with Visual Studio 2005 and Visual Studio 2008.

This beta release adds support for working with ASMX web services. It also includes many minor enhancements and bug fixes that have been reported since the first major release in January 2008. The release contains an installer, all the sources, documentation on how to install and use the tool (including how to build it), all the sources and a lab.

What's New

The main new feature is support for ASMX web services. The tool uses WCF’s ability to interoperate with ASMX web services to test these services. A WCF proxy must be generated from the web service’s WSDL for the tool to be able to work, but the trace does not need to come from a WCF client, the tool now also supports reading pre-captured traces collected using Fiddler2.

There have been numerous other changes and fixes, the more significant ones are:
